Jenni Timony is a entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in commercial and social entrepreneurship projects. In 2012 Jenni launched www.mavenmarketing.ie a marketing agency for SME’s in Ireland. Maven Marketing currently has clients in sectors such as Consumer Goods, Media, Agri business, Fuel, Tourism,Food, Pharmaceuticals and Ecommerce. Prior to this was Frankley.com a subscription ecommerce concept for the North American market, based in San Francisco employing 4 people. Frankley.com used a wide variety of digital marketing tools and techniques in-house to gain attention in the US market and was an early entrant into the emerging subscription ecommerce space.
In 2001 Jenni founded and grew Doolittles, a nationwide sandwich manufacturing and distribution business employing 35 people full time.
Doolittles became the sole sandwich supplier to the largest nationwide retail fuel suppliers , Topaz Energy and listed Ireland’s regional airline Aer Arann, Aldi Ireland and Spar BWG as key clients.
Jenni also lectures in Innovation, Leadership and Marketing (Online & Retail) in Letterkenny Institute of Technology as well as on the IBEC Retail Degree programme.
She has delivered workshops on the EI New Frontiers programme on Market Validation and Digital Marketing and has mentored on the Endeavour start up programme in Tralee. Additionally Jenni mentors start up businesses through the Enterprise Ireland mentor programme and Local Enterprise Boards. Jenni was shortlisted as a national finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2007 , as well as in the O2 Business Woman of the Year Awards, and was a recipient of an Ulster Bank Business Achievers Award.
Jenni has a Masters in International Business from Trinity College Dublin, having attended IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland and Babson College in Boston as part of this programme.
